What is Direct Billing and how do I create an account?

Direct Billing is a module designed to facilitate the creation of accounts for travel agents and corporate companies. It allows guest bills to be directly charged to these entities.


To create an account in Direct Billing:


  1. Access your property dashboard and click "Go to Dashboard" on the Hotel Dashboard to reach your desired property.
  2. Navigate to More Apps and select the "Direct Billing" option.
  3. Click on "Add New."
  4. Input the details of the Travel Agent or Corporate company, including Account Name, Account number, GST, Contact details, Email id, Address, and Account type (Corporate, Travel Agent, In-house Account).
  5. Once the account is saved, you can view the company name in the booking source during booking creation. Any booking created with the source of a Direct Billing account can bill the amount against the company and checkout the guest.




How do I view Direct Billing account bookings and settle payments?


To view Direct Billing account bookings and settle payments:


  1. Access the Direct Billing option under More Apps.
  2. Select the respective Travel Agent account.
  3. You will have options to view bookings, edit the account, and disable the account.
  4. Click on "View Bookings."
  5. Specify the date range and search to view the bookings placed. You can also view only unsettled bookings by enabling the option "Unsettled only."
  6. The system will display a list of all pending due bookings. Choose the booking IDs and click on "Settle due" to clear the balance due.
  7. Upon clicking, the system will display the mode of payment options such as Cash Payment, offline cheque, offline card, or other payment methods.
  8. Once the mode of payment is selected, the system will display the chosen booking's balance due amount. You can clear the full due or override to partial clearance and click on "Settle."
