The Rate Template feature simplifies the task of adjusting room prices with just one click, offering property owners a convenient solution. Usually, properties manage a pricing chart containing rates for peak seasons, off-peak seasons, special events, and other occasions. With this functionality, property managers need only define these prices once, applying them to any date throughout the year across various booking sources, be it offline or online.

How do I create a Rate Template?

1. Navigate to your property dashboard: Click "Go to Dashboard" on the Hotel Dashboard to reach the desired property.
2. Access Revenue Management: Under "more apps," select Revenue Management.
3. Choose Rate Template: Within the Revenue Management section, select "Rate Template" from the options on the left.
4. Add New Rate Template: Click on "Add New Rate Template."
5. Name your Rate Template: Specify a descriptive name such as "High Season Rate," "Low Season Rate," etc.
6. Select a color: Choose a color to represent your Rate Template on the calendar for easier identification.
7. Add a brief description: Describe the pricing strategy implemented in the template.
8. Add Dependent Rate Templates: If you have multiple Rate Templates and one depends on another, check the "Add Dependent Rate Template" box and select the dependent Rate Template.
9. Save: Once all details are entered, click "Save."
10. Create Multiple Templates: You can repeat the above steps to create additional templates.

How do I edit the prices within a Rate Template?

1. Access the Rate Template: Once created, the system will display options like Edit Template, Edit Template prices, and Disable.
2. Edit Template Prices: Click on "Edit Template Prices."
3. Bulk Edit: The system will show a list of room categories and rate plans available at the property level. You can click on "Bulk Edit Rate Template" to set prices for categories and rate plans.

How do I apply a Rate Template to specific dates?

1. Go back to the Rate Template main page after setting prices.
2. Navigate to the Template Calendar.
3. Apply Template: Click on the date range and apply the required template. The chosen template's color will be visible on the calendar, and the rates will be synced to OTA's and reflected on the inventory calendar.
