How to set inventory for all your rooms?

Setting inventory is to update the number of rooms available in your hotel. You can update the inventory of multiple properties and rooms from a single dashboard either manually. or in bulk. To complete the process, follow the below-mentioned steps. 

You can update inventory in two ways. Here’s the first one. 

Step 1: Log in to your dashboard, with your existing ID and password.

 

Step 2: Click on the hotel for which you want to update and rates and inventories. For example, here I am selecting the first property.

 

Once you click on this, you will be redirected to this page as shown below.

Step 3: From the top left side of the page, click on the first option from the right.

 

Clicking on the icon will redirect you to the page as shown below.

 

Step 4: You can go to the individual room type section on your dashboard and update the available rooms. For example, If you want to update the rooms for “single room one”, go to the single room one section and click on the number situated in the “available” column. 

Note: This is can be done manually if you wish to update the total rooms for particular dates. If you want to edit in bulk dates then you will have to follow a different step that has been discussed in the latter part of this article.

So here, we are updating the number of available rooms for 28th June 2022.

Once you click on the number situated right beside the available section (0 in this case), you will get the option to edit the same. Refer to the screenshot below.

 

Step 5: Update the number. For example, let's assume “10”. So I will update enter 10 over here.

This will be automatically updated in the backend and in all OTAs.

Step 6: Click on the information icon, to see the connected OTAs in which the data will be updated. 

 

 

Here you can see demo OTA booking.easemytrip that has been linked. You will be able to see all the linked OTAs from this section.

 

Note: You can follow a similar procedure for all your room types if you wish to update rooms for particular dates. 

For bulk action, follow the below-mentioned steps.

Step 1: Log in to your dashboard, with your existing ID and password.

 

Step 2: Click on the hotel for which you want to update and rates and inventories. For example, here I am selecting on the first property.

 

Once you click on this, you will be redirected to this page as shown below.

Step 3: From the top left side of the page, click on the first option from the right.

 

Clicking on the icon will redirect you to the page as shown below.

 

Step 4: Click on the three-dot icon from the right side of the page.

 

Once you click on that, a dropdown menu will appear as shown below.

 

Step 5: Select the bulk operations option from here.

 

 

Once you click on that, a sidebar will appear as shown below.

 

Step 6: Select the “action type” from the drop-down list.

Step 7: Select the “set inventory” option from the list and fill in the required information.

Step 8: Select your preferred room type and the dates for which you want to update the inventory. 


Once done, click on “set inventory” 


Your inventory will be updated on the dashboard and every connected OTA.
